01/12— Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey loves,
I’m going to say something you haven’t heard before… I’m not that annoyed at winter this year (yet).
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I dislike cold and everything that comes with. But I’ve barely been leaving the house anyway. Partly because I was taken out by a sinus infection (god bless antibiotics 🙏), partly because the holidays gave me full permission to live in slow mode, and partly because I somehow got completely addicted to going to the movies over the last few weeks. Matinee showings, popcorn, zero expectations — kind of a dream, actually.
But now, as much as I love a cocoon era, it is time to gently come back to routine. Not in a “new year, new me” way — more in a “my body and brain would like a little structure again” way. And whenever I’m trying to get back into my groove, movement is usually where I start.
Which brings me to something I’m really excited about.
I planned another event, and it’s honestly something I would do all day, every day if I could: working out.
If you’ve been wanting to staer going to the gym but don’t feel confident, don’t know what to do, or keep hearing about strength training and wondering if it’s even for you… come hang.
We’ll move, we’ll talk nutrition, and we’ll eat lunch together. A workout, a conversation, and a meal — truly my favorite way to spend an afternoon.
