The Quiet Season Starts Now

12/08 — Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey there,

I’m finally back — and let me just say, returning to this cold was a rude awakening. But as dreamy as the ocean and sunshine were, I’m honestly not someone who loves being away for long. I miss my own food, my routine, my gym, my little habits that make life feel steady. It still makes me laugh that 48 hours ago I was floating in warm water, and now I’m excited to never leave my house.

But there really is something magical about this pre-Christmas stretch. The holiday drinks, the soft build-up, the tiny rituals… it all feels grounding in a way that makes coming home a little sweeter.

This is probably the last week of the year that still has some movement to it — not summer-level busy, but enough to feel alive before everything slows down and the city gets quiet again.

Anyway, happy to be back with you all. It feels good to be home.

With love always,

Maria <3
