The Quiet Season Starts Now
06/09 — Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey there! 💜
So…I’m back.
Freshly landed from my solo trip across way too many countries in way too few days — and I’d love to tell you I feel rested and rejuvenated, but… No. Not even a little bit 😂
Travelling across multiple countries alone is a whole different kind of “me time.” Like yes, it’s empowering and you learn a lot, but also? It only sounds dreamy until you’re lugging your suitcase up cobblestone hills, trying to figure out foreign train systems, and realizing that rest and relaxation are not the same thing. (At all.)
But here’s the thing I’ve been reflecting on this week:
At some point, there’s only so much you can stress about. Things will go wrong. You’ll forget something. You’ll be exhausted. And worrying? It doesn’t help — it just drains your battery faster.
“Anxiety is like a treadmill — it keeps you busy, but it doesn’t get you anywhere.”
And listen… if that didn’t call me out personally, I don’t know what does.
So this week, I’m giving myself permission to stop spinning my wheels. To rest even if everything’s not “done.” To sit down even if the world keeps moving.
