The Quiet Season Starts Now
10/06 — Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey friends,
By the time you’re reading this, I really hope I’m horizontal — either passed out post-HYROX or halfway through a pizza with no regrets and a face mask on. It’s been a wild stretch: a packed weekend, a stacked week, and two back-to-back races that I both signed up for and now slightly resent. (Kidding. Kind of.) You should see the list of snacks I’ve lined up for myself — after months of prep and calorie deficit, this is what I need.
But even with all the chaos, there’s a shift happening. Things are finally starting to slow down. Not fully stopped (don’t worry, there are still lots of events coming), but the kind of slow that lets you actually hear yourself think again. And truthfully? As much as I’ve come to love the rhythm of always having something on the calendar, I’m learning how good it feels to pause.
Sometimes you don’t realize you’ve been off-course until you actually stop moving long enough to notice.
So this next season? I’m making space. For rest, for reflection, for new ideas to land. There’s still one spot left for next week’s event if you want to snag it — and I’m lining up a few more cozy, intentional gatherings in October before I actually take a break. But more on that soon. For now, I’m off to eat snacks and not think about ANYTHING for at least 72 hours.
Sending you softness,
Maria
The Quiet Stroll: A Community Walk

I’ve been wanting to meet more of you in person — I know a lot of you haven’t been able to make it to my events yet, so this one’s super simple.
Before the chill fully sets in, let’s get outside together. We’ll take an easy walk, grab a coffee on the way, and just hang out. No pressure, no sign-ups, no big plan — just a little movement, good conversation, and a chance to connect before we all disappear into our cozy hibernation era.
No pressure, no rules — just good vibes, comfy shoes, and new friends.
What’s going on this week?
