The Quiet Season Starts Now

07/14 — Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey there! 💜

Lately, I’ve been thinking about what it really means to grow. Not in the dramatic “new me, who this” kind of way — but in the quiet, intentional, actually feels good kind of way. The kind where you’re not trying to outdo anyone else… just showing up a little more honestly for yourself each day.

Simon Sinek (who I’ve been mildly obsessed with lately — send help) talks a lot about the idea of infinite progress. That it’s not about winning or finishing, it’s about continuing to improve on your own terms. And that hit.

When we stop measuring ourselves against other people and start focusing on our own path, everything starts to shift.

The pressure lifts. The process actually becomes enjoyable. But here’s the piece we often forget:

Even when you’re focused on your own growth, you’re not meant to do it alone.

You can stack your habits, take all the supplements, do every wellness thing under the sun — but nothing replaces that call to a friend when you need to cry or vent or just be heard. No productivity hack can match the feeling of real connection.

That’s why I started The Quiet Season. Yes, to share the things that help me feel more grounded — but also to remind you that

you don’t have to choose between self-work and community.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for your wellbeing is to skip the checklist and let someone in.

Also — if you haven’t heard, I started a broadcast channel because I want to share the fun, messy, random stuff that doesn’t always make it to my main page. More real talk, more connection.

Take care of you,
Maria 💛
