10/13 — Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey there,

If you’ve been with me through the summer, you know I’ve been tired. Like, chronically in need of a nap tired. And I know you’ve probably heard me say that one too many times — which means it was time to stop saying it and actually do something about it. So I did. I slowed down. I (to be completely honest, I’ve had to after two Hyrox races in a row). I caught up with myself. I let silence be part of the rhythm again.

I took almost a full week off — no workouts, no events (okay, I hosted one, but it didn’t feel like “on” energy). To be completely honest though, after doing two Hyrox races back-to-back, it didn’t actually feel that weird or guilt-inducing. It felt… earned. It was a lot — physically, mentally, all of it — but also probably one of my top five most fun experiences ever. High highs, and then a full exhale.

So now? I’m easing into fall with a different kind of energy. Not the full sprint into “new season, new me” mode. More like: fewer things, done more intentionally.

Which is exactly why

one of my final events of the year is a yoga and meditation class.

No hype, no pressure — just a moment to come back to ourselves, together.
