12/8 — Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey there! 💜

This week has been a whirlwind. December always brings this special energy where everyone finds time to reconnect, and I’ve been leaning all the way in. Between coffee dates, parties, and shopping for holiday gifts, I’m feeling both the buzz and the burnout of the season—but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

It’s funny how December makes you reflect on everything at once. I’ve been thinking about my big goals for 2025 (hello, Miami Marathon!) and how I’m balancing training with the holiday chaos. Spoiler: it’s a lot of stretching, a little self-doubt, and some weird mental tricks to keep myself going.

At the same time, I’ve been leaning into the joy of giving. There’s something so satisfying about picking out a gift that lights someone up—and honestly, seeing their happiness feels just as good as finishing a long run.

And yes, I’m spending the holidays solo this year, but don’t feel bad for me. I’ve been reframing it as a chance to rest, reflect, and recharge—and to focus on the relationships I do have in a way that feels meaningful.

This episode is full of thoughts on all of that: the chaos of December, big goals, showing up for your people, and finding balance when life feels full. It’s messy, it’s real, and I hope you love it.
