12/16 — Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey there! 💜
This week, I’ve been in my gratitude era—like full-on, I’m thankful for my long winter coat gratitude. (Seriously, I think buying it might be the best decision I’ve made all year.) But this shift in perspective got me thinking: what if we used that same mindset to tackle the holidays?
Let’s be real—spending the holidays alone can feel anywhere from blah to a full-on breakdown. But it doesn’t have to be! In this week’s episode, I’m sharing all my tips for reframing the season and turning it into the coziest, most fulfilling self-care day ever. From pancake breakfasts to arts and crafts (yes, I’m — potentially — crafting magnets this year), I’ll walk you through how to make your solo holiday feel amazing.
So, if the thought of spending the holidays solo feels daunting, don’t worry—I’ve got you. Hit play on this week’s episode and let’s plan the best self-care day together.
Wellness Spotlight Of The Week — Meet Sian
The other day, I had the best catch-up with Sian—a total wellness girlie who just moved to Toronto from New Zealand. Imagine leaving a secure job as an accountant, moving halfway across the world, and starting over in a city where you know basically no one. Bold, right?

“New Zealand is pretty small, and I just wanted to try living somewhere new, and if not now — when? I’ve always been drawn to big cities—there’s so much to do, and new things come up all the time.”
We talked about everything—wellness, personal development, finding balance, and the all-too-real struggle of surviving Toronto winters (spoiler: her advice is all about layers and good vibes). Back in New Zealand, she had an established clientele as a Reiki healer and breathwork coach, but now she’s rebuilding her business and creating a whole new community here. Her new venture, Marama Wellness, is focused on helping women heal, grow, and find their inner glow.
She also hosts a Self-Love Club for women, and honestly, she’s just the kind of energy Toronto needs more of. She’s building something truly special, and I know you’ll love her vibe as much as I do.

Wellness girlies connecting :)
💕Now, Sian is rebuilding her business from scratch as a Reiki healer and breathwork coach in a new city. She also hosts a monthly Self-Love Club for women, where she helps others find balance, self-worth, and empowerment.
Sian is such a lovely soul, and I can’t recommend her enough! If you’re into all things wellness and self-love, you need to follow her journey. 💕
✨Go show her some love and follow her journey at @maramawellness as she builds something incredible in our city! 🌈
