Your 'Me Time' Starts now!

01/13/25 — Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey there! 💜

This week, I’ve been spending a lot of time with an ice pack (and let’s be real, a few frustrated sighs). Marathon training threw me an unexpected challenge—my poor ankle decided it wasn’t ready for the journey. It’s tough to pause when you’ve been working so hard for something, but sometimes life has other plans, and this week gave me a chance to slow down and reflect.

The result? A big ol’ list of lessons from 2024 that I think we can all relate to. Some were tough to learn, like realizing how lonely self-growth can feel. Others were empowering, like the confidence that comes from pushing your limits—whether that’s physical, emotional, or just sitting through a cycling class (seriously, how do people enjoy those?).

In this week’s episode of Not Now, It’s Me Time, I’m unpacking all of it. We’re talking about the importance of laying strong foundations (for your body, your mind, and your relationships), why slowing down isn’t the same as giving up, and the underrated power of showing love to the people in your life.

Plus, if you’ve been deep in the ACOTAR universe like me, I’ve got thoughts on the spice, the drama, and whether Nesta deserved my patience.

Whether you’re navigating your own season of growth, struggling with motivation, or just here for the laughs, this episode is packed with relatable moments and big takeaways.

🎧 Tune in now, and let me know: What’s a lesson you learned last year that’s sticking with you in 2025? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Wellness Spotlight Of The Week — Meet Bisleen

I first met Dr. Bisleen Attli, ND, at a coworking space, and let me tell you, her energy is contagious.

She’s not just a Naturopathic Doctor who is also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (how impressive is that, btw?) — she’s the kind of person who makes you believe you can truly achieve anything.

Bisleen is all about helping high-performers optimize their brain health, but she doesn’t stop there. She’s like your personal cheerleader, teaching you mindset hacks, self-worth, and practical lifestyle strategies that actually work.

Her next event Next Level You: Designing Your Best Year Yet is totally sold out already (not surprised, honestly!) is just one example of how in-demand she is. But don’t worry— she’s planning to have many more soon!

And in the meantime, you can still catch her posting super fun and insightful stuff on her socials. And if you’re ready to level up your life, you can even work with her 1:1.

Trust me, she’s one of those rare people who just gets it—and you’ll be so glad to have her in your corner.

Check out her website or give her a follow on IG to stay in the loop!
