01/27 — Your Guide to Toronto Wellness This Week

Hey there! 💜
This week, confidence has been on my mind a lot—probably because I’m in the final stretch before my marathon next Sunday. It’s wild how much mental energy goes into something like this. One moment I’m hyping myself up like, “You’ve got this!” and the next, I’m googling “how to get out if I want to bail mid-marathon”.
But as much as I’m nervous, I’m also proud. The training process has been one of the most mentally and physically challenging things I’ve ever done. It’s taught me so much about showing up for myself, even when I don’t feel like it. And that ties perfectly into what we’re talking about this week: confidence.
In this week’s episode, I’m sharing:
My five go-to tips for building confidence that actually lasts.
How pushing yourself to do hard things is a huge flex for your self-esteem.
Why celebrating small wins, like completing your last long run, matters just as much as the big ones.
And, of course, a little pre-marathon pep talk because I just need it, ok?
If you’ve been feeling stuck in self-doubt or just want a little inspiration to step outside your comfort zone, this episode is for you.
Hit play, and let’s get confident together.
Wellness Spotlight Of The Week — Meet Rabia
This week, I’m so happy to feature my friend— Rabia, who’s also one of the most impressive women I know and is an absolute inspiration to me(and now to all of you).
Rabia truly knows how to jugle it all: working full-time in influencer marketing, freelancing, nurturing her relationships, and running one of the coolest side-hustles I’ve ever come across: See U IRL where she transforms her apartment into the cutest cafe every Saturday for people to meet each other and make genuine connections.
She also hosts a bunch of other events that sell out in minutes (for a reason!), and runs an amazing newsletter about fun things you can do around Toronto.
So, naturally, with such a busy schedule, I asked Rabia, what’s her idea of a perfect Me Time:

Being the overachiever I am, I sometimes try to turn "me time" into productivity time—like recharging while running errands. But sometimes not bring productive is the most productive thing I can do. I’m obsessed with yoga, breathwork, or simply getting lost in a good book.
Want to meet new people or just add some cozy vibes to your weekends? Follow See U IRL for all the details, and don’t miss Rabia’s funniest and most relatable TikToks to stay tuned for all the fun events she is putting together!
